We’re really looking forward to doing some in person networking next month and wanted to share further information on two upcoming events that you’ll be able to find us at.

At both events, we’ll be exhibiting and sharing information on MedPoint, including our origins, how our solutions work, the benefits a MedPoint machine can bring, feedback and examples of success stories!

Both events will be a great opportunity for pharmacists, dispensing doctors and healthcare professionals to learn more about us, ask questions and make enquiries about installing a MedPoint.

Best Practice Show 13 -14 October 2021 – Stand B115

The Best Practice Show is hosted at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre. The event caters for the primary and general practice community and was established a decade ago. The show will consist of in person talks, streams and discussions delivered by healthcare leaders.

We’ll be attending with a MedPoint system for you to see in action. We will be able to talk you through all our solutions including the MedPoint SOLO.

The MedPoint SOLO is a fully temperature controlled free-standing version of our ATM style MedPoints, the first and only one of its kind!

This year we celebrated the first MedPoint SOLO installation at an NHS site! The machine, which is located at a Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust site, has helped maintain and aid patient access to prescriptions, particularly during a significant refit programme.

About the SOLO:

• The bespoke solution was designed as part of our Covid-19 response to enable rapid deployment with little or no building/planning works.
• The machine was awarded InnovateUK funding to develop the concept further.

The Pharmacy Show 17–18 October 2021 – Hall 4, Stand D55

The Pharmacy Show is also hosted at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre. The event caters for pharmacy professionals across the UK and delivers a whole variety of content relevant to the sector.

We’ll be attending with a MedPoint for pharmacists to see in action! You’ll be able to ask us questions and find out how our solutions can be tailored to fit your pharmacy needs.

Whilst we’re at the Pharmacy Show, our co-founder Kevin Murphy will be delivering a presentation!

MedPoint 24/7 Prescription Collection – Why it’s the Fastest Growing Pharmacy Automation Product in the UK in The Technology Theatre, Sunday 17^th October, 13:25 – 13:55. 

Kevin will be talking about how the MedPoint came to be developed by Pharmacists, for Pharmacists, and why this is now a leading solution for pharmacies across the UK.

Come along to the presentation to learn why innovating workflow matters and learn from the experience of fellow operators who have implemented 24/7 Collection.

Kevin is Superintendent Pharmacist of Wellbeing Pharmacies Group and has overseen the successful establishment of over fifteen new NHS community pharmacies in the increasingly divergent health systems of Scotland, England, and the Republic of Ireland. This has led to valuable insights into the patient journey in primary care and the regulatory framework around pharmacy services.

He is a passionate advocate for community pharmacy and the need to rapidly innovate how pharmacies operate in the face of numerous challenges, not least funding and technological changes.

Focusing on improving the patient experience led Kevin to co-develop the MedPoint range of automated 24/7 prescription collection solutions.
