Our Quarter One Summary: Growth, Celebration and Success

As we leave Quarter One, we reflect on what an incredible start to the year we have had at MedPoint for us as a team as well as our customers.

MedPoint celebrated our 100th installation

It’s fair to say our install team rack up the miles ensuring each install is quick and seamless for the customer.  We are delighted to celebrate our 100th install which took place last quarter. With more already installed and planned for the next few months, we are looking forward to surpassing this figure quickly.

Exciting developments

We are always trying to improve our product and services and have been hard at work, putting together many exciting developments and improvements to further benefit pharmacists and their patients.

In addition to being the only 24/7 prescription collection system with a fully automated loading process, we have rolled out interruptible scanning to all systems in the field. Interruptible scanning allows all MedPoint machines to scan loaded items in the background, so patients can collect their orders without the wait.

All MedPoint models also now come with the option for at-machine contactless payments. This means more patients than ever can use MedPoint machines – collections come first and our new features fully support this.

Expansion of our SOLO range

Product development doesn’t just stop with our systems but extends to MedPoint machines too. The one-of-a-kind, SOLO, is set to be redeveloped offering customers an alternative to the original with all the same much loved features.

Great customer service and feedback

Following a recent survey, we are proud to share that 98% of customers are extremely satisfied with our ongoing service and support.

Feedback is so important to us, it not only helps up ensure we continually meet our customers’ needs but that our customers are able to serve their local communities better too.  Comments have included “great help”, “excellent service’ and “very fast and effective service”.

We’d like to give a special thanks to MedPoint team members Ross Gardiner and Caroline Armitt, for their incredible patience, knowledge, and support. Through their hard work, our average chat waiting time for over 1,000 chats is just 11 seconds.

New Partnerships

In order for us to better support our customers we believe in creating long lasting and meaningful partnerships.  Whilst there is already an impressive list of partners we continually work with, this past quarter we’ve secured partnerships with the Alliance Group and EDIA Healthcare.

On the road

One of the biggest UPS for MedPoint is our co-founder, Kevin Murphy.  A pharmacist himself, he understands the needs and pressures pharmacists are met with. Recently, he has taken some time away from his own pharmacies and has been out and about visiting several MedPoint customers across the UK. Head of Sales, Lee Tingling also hit the road to finally catch up with Miles Nelson of Nelson’s Pharmacy, Caerphilly, the lucky winner of our Pharmacy Show Prize Draw.

Over 30 new customers

In the first quarter, MedPoint has welcomed over 30 new customers to our rapidly increasing family all in addition to existing customers rolling out MedPoints to multiple branches and locations.  That’s an average of one every three days!

Celebrating happy team news

This quarter welcomed two important new arrivals into the MedPoint family. Congratulations to Kevin Murphy and family for the birth of baby Kiren, and to Kirsti Clifford and family for the arrival of baby Sebastian.
